What it is like here

Kazakhstan trains for oil, gas, mining and logistics — real industries that employ people — and the colleges are cheap in absolute terms. From outside, though, almost nothing is legible: no institution publishes a foreign-student rate we could find, instruction is in Kazakh or Russian, and the route to working afterwards runs through the same employer-and-quota system a degree faces.
