What it is like here
Japanese culinary schools and the animation and game colleges train people the industries actively recruit, and vocational graduates get the same job-hunting status university graduates do, which is more than the Netherlands or Czechia offer. The catch is the work visa itself: a 専門士 holder must find employment closely related to what they studied, and immigration reads that relatedness strictly.
How the process works
Check the school issues 専門士 and can sponsor a visa
Not every training provider is an accredited 専門学校, and only accredited ones lead anywhere.
Japanese language first, usually
Most vocational colleges teach in Japanese and require JLPT N2 to enrol.
