What it is like here
Chile trains for the two things it does at world scale — copper mining and wine — and both employ people at every level. The technical institutes are large and inexpensive for Chileans. For a foreigner, though, the state technical system is explicitly restricted to residents, and no institution publishes what an international student would pay.
How the process works
Check whether the institute admits non-residents
The free state system does not, and the private ones publish nothing.
