Where these figures came from

One row per ingredient. Open any of them for the source, how far we trust it, and when we last checked.

TuitionNo data yet

No figure recorded. No published fee schedule for an Argentine culinary, film or design institution charging foreign students could be confirmed at tier 1 or tier 2, and the 2025 decree that authorised fees for non-resident foreigners applies to national institutions without setting an amount. See the Pathoff method, section 14-5.

no figure
LivingNo data yet

No figure recorded. The World Bank last published the household consumption PPP for this country for 2021, and the exchange rate it would be divided by has not meant one thing since. Rather than drag every other country back to a 2021 vintage to keep this one, the gap is left here. See the Pathoff method, sections 12-1-1 and 14-5.

Single student, all in — deliberately the same figure as the degree page. It is the same person living the same way; only the training differs. No figure is recorded because none can be defended.

Pathoff education rubric (the Pathoff method, section 9-2), special band "Regionally credible": Film, gastronomy and design training is known and respected across Latin America and attached to industries that actually employ people. Mid-band because outside the region the institutions are not names employers recognise.

Pathoff outcome rubric (the Pathoff method, section 10-3), special outcome band "A route that needs an employer": Judged on its own. Argentina publishes no list of trades closed to foreigners and no separate vocational route either, so the mechanism is the one the degree route uses — a change of migratory status on the strength of employment. Same band and the same position, for the same structural reason.

What it is like here

Argentina has genuine specialist sectors: a film school system that produced an internationally visible cinema, gastronomy tied to one of the world’s serious food cultures, and design. The problem for this page is the same as everywhere else in Argentina — we could not establish what a foreign student pays, nor price the living costs around it.

How the process works

1

Confirm the school can sponsor a student residence

Short courses often cannot, which leaves no route onward.

Timing not confirmed

Where the training is

Buenos Aires
The film schools, the kitchens, and the studios
