At tier 1 the national Study in Jordan portal publishes only a JOD 35 application fee; at tier 2 the University of Jordan’s programme-fees page rejects automated requests and the German Jordanian University publishes its international credit-hour fees as PDFs whose text could not be extracted by any means we tried; at tier 3 the aggregators disagree by an order of magnitude, quoting both "$100 to $850 per credit hour" and "from $1,000 a year". Pathoff education rubric (the Pathoff method, section 9-1), degree band "Recognised within a bloc": Jordanian degrees are accepted throughout the Arab world without explanation and its medical and engineering faculties are the region’s reference; teaching is largely in English. Mid-band because outside that bloc the qualification is assessed rather than assumed.

Pathoff outcome rubric (the Pathoff method, section 10-2), degree outcome band "A route you cannot plan around": Graduation confers no period to stay, work permits are employer-sponsored, and Jordan reserves a long list of professions for Jordanians in a labour market already carrying high graduate unemployment. Above the floor because permits are issued and the restricted list is published.

What it is like here

Jordan is the education hub of the Levant: its universities take students from across the Arab world, teach medicine and engineering to a standard the region trusts, and run much of it in English. What they will not do is publish a number. Every route we tried ended at a contact form or a PDF that would not open, so this page carries no fee.
