학비
연 ~$3.3–6.5k
Study in Czech at a public or state university is free of charge for all nationalities under the Higher Education Act. This figure prices the English-taught route, which is the one a non-Czech-speaker can actually take, and excludes medicine, which is several times higher.
생활비
월 ~$1,100
Single student, all in. Compared at country level, so capital cities and large metros run higher. The price level behind it prices the basket residents buy, and a foreign renter cannot reach the cheap end of local housing — poorer countries may still sit too low here.
교육
Solid
Research impact 35th percentile globally — median of 16 ranked universities (CWTS Leiden Open Edition 2025). Research output, not teaching quality; it informs the band, it does not set the score.
졸업 후 취업
Nine months to look for work, unsponsored
The follow-on is the employee card, which some Czech missions apply quotas to — though a graduate already in the country applies in-country and does not meet them.

Studying in Czech is free to foreigners exactly as it is to Czechs, so these are the English-taught rates, which is what an international undergraduate actually pays. Three universities from their own pages. Charles University's Faculty of Mathematics and Physics charges non-EU students €7,100 a year from 2026/27, against €4,200 for EU students, and its Faculty of Social Sciences charges €5,000 for the History and Area Studies BA — a median of €6,050. Masaryk University publishes one fee per faculty: €3,000 (Science), CZK 76,000 (Arts), CZK 68,000 (Education), €4,500 (Informatics), CZK 100,000 (Economics and Administration), a median of about €3,020 once the koruna figures are converted at the same World Bank rate. The Czech Technical University's Faculty of Electrical Engineering publishes CZK 110,000 a year, or CZK 55,000 a semester. Recorded at the median of the three, CZK 110,000 a year. Medicine and pharmacy are left out. Charles University's own headline range of €40 to €30,620 spans every foreign-language programme it runs and is not a figure any applicant faces.

Pathoff judgement directed by evidence, not computed from it: the country’s position comes from the World Bank household consumption price level for 2024 (0.617 of the United States, CC BY 4.0 — the ICP benchmark carried forward annually by the World Bank’s own method); the US reference budget is ours. See the Pathoff method, section 12.

Pathoff education rubric (the Pathoff method, section 9-1), degree band "Recognised within a bloc": Carries across the EU automatically, and the English-taught medical degrees are accepted by European regulators, which is a genuine recognition signal. Held mid-band because outside medicine and Charles University the institutions need introducing.

Pathoff outcome rubric (the Pathoff method, section 10-2), degree outcome band "A post-study route you can rely on": The permit for seeking employment or starting a business is granted to graduates of an accredited university programme, gives free labour-market access, and needs no employer. Low in the band because it runs nine months and the Immigration Portal states it "cannot be extended".

The follow-on is the employee card, which some Czech missions apply quotas to — though a graduate already in the country applies in-country and does not meet them.

여기는 어떤 곳인가

Study in Czech at a public university and there is no tuition at all, for any nationality; study in English and the fee is a few thousand a year outside medicine. Graduates get a nine-month permit to look for work with free labour-market access and no employer needed. The honest limit is reputation: outside Charles University and the medical faculties, Czech institutions are not names that travel.
