Armenia

Real trades in a small country, priced for the people who live in it.

~$700/mo
Single student, all in — deliberately the same figure as the degree page. It is the same person living the same way; only the training differs. Compared at country level, so capital cities and large metros run higher. The price level behind it prices the basket residents buy, and a foreign renter cannot reach the cheap end of local housing — poorer countries may still sit too low here.

TuitionNo data yet

No figure recorded. At tier 1 the ministry publishes no fee schedule for foreign vocational students; at tier 2 no college publishes an international rate; at tier 3 nothing usable is in circulation. See the Pathoff method, section 14-5.

Pathoff judgement directed by evidence, not computed from it: the country’s position comes from the World Bank household consumption price level for 2024 (0.401 of the United States, CC BY 4.0 — the ICP benchmark carried forward annually by the World Bank’s own method); the US reference budget is ours. See the Pathoff method, section 12.

Pathoff education rubric (the Pathoff method, section 9-2), special band "Locally useful only": Colleges train capably for the Armenian labour market. Nothing here is a name to industry abroad.

Industry accessAn employer, a quota, and a small labour market

Pathoff outcome rubric (the Pathoff method, section 10-3), special outcome band "A route you cannot plan around": Judged on its own and it lands below the degree route, because the trades a college qualification leads to are the ones a small domestic labour market fills first, and the new quotas apply to the work category as well.

What it is like here

Armenia’s colleges train for construction, engineering and increasingly software, and the IT sector around them is the fastest-growing thing in the country. None of it is sold abroad: no international rate is published, and the qualification is not one an employer outside the region would recognise.

How the process works

1

Ask the college for a rate in writing

Nothing published names a price for a foreign trainee.

Timing not confirmed

Where the training is

Yerevan
The colleges, and the software companies hiring from them
