학비
연 ~$3.7k
Study in Slovene at a public university is free for EU citizens and for nationals of countries with reciprocal agreements; this prices the route open to everyone else.
생활비
월 ~$1,150
Single student, all in. Compared at country level, so capital cities and large metros run higher. The price level behind it prices the basket residents buy, and a foreign renter cannot reach the cheap end of local housing — poorer countries may still sit too low here.

Solid
Research impact 56th percentile globally — median of 3 ranked universities (CWTS Leiden Open Edition 2025). Research output, not teaching quality; it informs the band, it does not set the score. Three Slovenian universities clear the ranking’s publication threshold, so the median rests on a very small sample.
졸업 후 취업

Two universities, and Slovenia makes the non-EU rule explicit. The University of Maribor's 2026/27 price list states that citizens of non-EU states pay the fee set for Slovenian citizens in part-time study, and its first-cycle table gives 42 programme rates from €2,400 to €5,060 a year, a median of €3,420. At the University of Ljubljana the School of Economics and Business publishes €3,400 a year for full-time undergraduate study by nationals of countries outside the EU with no bilateral agreement. Recorded at the median of the two, €3,410 a year. Ljubljana prices by faculty rather than centrally, so one faculty stands for it here; medicine is left out of both.

Pathoff judgement directed by evidence, not computed from it: the country’s position comes from the World Bank household consumption price level for 2024 (0.625 of the United States, CC BY 4.0 — the ICP benchmark carried forward annually by the World Bank’s own method); the US reference budget is ours. See the Pathoff method, section 12.

Pathoff education rubric (the Pathoff method, section 9-1), degree band "Recognised within a bloc": Recognised automatically across the EU and respected across the former Yugoslav region. Mid-band because outside those two blocs the institutions are not names an employer recognises.

Pathoff outcome rubric (the Pathoff method, section 10-2), degree outcome band "A post-study route you can rely on": A single residence permit for seeking employment or self-employment, issued to holders of a Slovenian higher education qualification obtained within the last two years, needing no employer. Low in the band: the Ministry’s own page states it is issued once for a maximum of nine months, cannot be extended, and that the holder may look for work but not do it.

Ljubljana charges non-EU students the same fees as everyone else — around €4,700 a year at its business school — living costs are well below the Western European average, and the country is the safest measured anywhere on this site. Afterwards there are nine months to look for work, though the permit is issued once, cannot be extended, and does not let you work while you use it.

절차는 이렇습니다
