What it is like here
Czechia sits thirteenth in the world for peacefulness and living costs are well below the Western European average — but the international schools have not priced themselves that way. Prague’s two established English-medium schools charge more than Bangkok’s or Lisbon’s, and there is no parental status, so the family route runs through a parent’s own permit.
How the process works
A parent secures a long-term permit
Employee card, business or study. The child then applies for family reunification.
Secure a school place
The established Prague schools run waiting lists, particularly at primary.
