Real training, cheap, in an industry that cannot then employ you.

Saigontourist Hospitality College and the other specialist providers publish no international fee we could find. The nearest figure, a university hospitality degree at about $13,900 a year, prices a different thing and is not a stand-in.

Pathoff judgement directed by evidence, not computed from it: the country’s position comes from the World Bank household consumption price level for 2024 (0.296 of the United States, CC BY 4.0 — the ICP benchmark carried forward annually by the World Bank’s own method); the US reference budget is ours. See the Pathoff method, section 12.

What it is like here

Hospitality and culinary training in Vietnam is inexpensive and the industry behind it is growing fast. The same wall stands at the end of it: without three years of prior experience a foreign graduate cannot be issued a work permit, so the training does not convert into a job here. It converts elsewhere, or not at all.
