Hospitality training beside a real tourism industry, quoted on enquiry.

Single student, all in — deliberately the same figure as the degree page. It is the same person living the same way; only the training differs. The price level behind it prices the basket residents buy, and a foreign renter cannot reach the cheap end of local housing — poorer countries may still sit too low here.

TuitionNo data yet

No figure recorded. At tier 1 no ministry publishes a rate for foreign vocational students; at tier 2 the Bali hospitality colleges say practical materials are included in the tuition fees and then direct enquirers to admissions rather than publishing a rate; at tier 3 the only published number is €1,350 for a four-week culinary short course, which is not an annual programme fee. See the Pathoff method, section 14-5.

Pathoff judgement directed by evidence, not computed from it: the country’s position comes from the World Bank household consumption price level for 2024 (0.322 of the United States, CC BY 4.0 — the ICP benchmark carried forward annually by the World Bank’s own method); the US reference budget is ours. See the Pathoff method, section 12.

Pathoff education rubric (the Pathoff method, section 9-2), special band "Regionally credible": The Bali hospitality colleges run long internships inside a genuine international tourism industry and place graduates across Asia and the Gulf. At the foot of the band: respected within Southeast Asian hospitality, unknown beyond it.

Industry accessHospitality jobs are the ones reserved for Indonesians

Pathoff outcome rubric (the Pathoff method, section 10-3), special outcome band "A route you cannot plan around": Judged on its own and it lands below the degree route. The occupation restrictions bear hardest on exactly the service and hospitality roles a vocational qualification leads to, which are the ones Indonesia reserves for its own workers.

What it is like here

Bali is one of the few places in the world where hospitality training sits inside the industry it trains for, and the colleges there place students into hotels across Asia, the Gulf and beyond. Pricing it is the problem: the campuses answer the fee question with a contact form, and the only published figure is for a four-week short course.

How the process works

1

Ask the college for a written fee, including the internship terms

Nothing is published, and the internship is a large part of the programme.

Timing not confirmed

Where the training is

Bali (Tabanan, Nusa Dua)
The hospitality campuses and the hotels they place into
Bandung
The state tourism polytechnic, and much cheaper living
